Re: George McCrary born Mobile, died Texas

I find RobertsonCo, TX and intersting coincidental connection.The oldest brother of 'Polly'would be John W. Perkins ( married to Tabitha Red).They married in AL, we assume in the Sumter/Dallas county area, northeast of Mobile.John and Tabitha can be found in RobertersonCo in 1870 census, along with sister Nancy Perkins and husband Harvey Hayman. They were in another county in 1860, might be Leon, would have to check.

I cant help but think there is all some connection somehow.Like I have said before, the ONLY info I have that my Polly Perkins married a George M. McCrary are in typed written family genealogy notes, but so far, they have proved to be accurate with other lines of the family, so the researcher was thorough.I cant place George Perkins in any documented Perkins family line, so I am seeking who his kids are, whom they married and where they all went as possible leads.I have also not ruled out the spelling I have of McCrary is not accurate.

Is there an online index of the book you reference?If so I would love to know if my Perkins or their families were mentioned.Thanks for any info, input and direction.
