Re: McCreights in Pennsylvannia

I just recently found out that my grandfather Louis Quigley was the illegitimate son of Alex & Eldora McCreight. He was born in February 1906 in Philadelphia, PA, but was apparently placed rather quickly with foster parents Edward & Mary Jane Quigley. When he was about 5 years old, he was removed from Mary Jane because she wound up in prison. They attempted to give him back to his biological parents, who were living at 809 Spring Garden St. at the time, but they were deemed unfit to raise him. Therefore he wound up in an orphanage.

I'm trying to find any records of Alex & Eldora but have had no luck on either the 1906 or 1910 census. If anyone knows of these names, I'd very much appreciate your help.
