McCullom, James - Wisconsin Civil War Veteran.
I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd =
Regiment . One of our men is James McCullom (McCullum; McCollum), His father was b. in Scotland, his mother in PA.James was b. 3 aug 1817He was a physician at Coventry, OH in 1850 & at Dekorra, Columbia Co., WI in 1860.
He m. (1) Anna ? b. 1823 in Ohio; d. 1865 in WI & is buried at Poynetter, WIThey had 3 children.
He m. (2) to Louisa ? b.c 1847.Her father was b. in England, her mother in Norway.
James d. 7 Feb 1897 & is buried at New Oregon Cemetery, Howard Co., IA.
