nathaniel mcelrath

im looking information on any slaves that the mcelrath family may have owned in south carolina, and georgia. my great great grandmother Sealey McElrath was born a slave in SC in 1834 and moved to AL in 1865 i was told she migrated there with her ex-owners and his family along with some other ex-slaves...i have a picture of a man that looks to be a white man....and was hoping someone could identify the picture to me..any information will greatly appreciated...i spoke to a gentlemen a few years back and was told that Nathaniel McElrath quite possibly have been her owner...maybe the picture is of him....
