McElrath's from Georgia, N.C.

Hello, my name is Clyde McElrath, I now live in Mississippi,my father was from Ball Ground Ga. When he was a young boy his mother died 1920, I was told he ,a brother,
a sister, was taken to N. C. to stay with family, later another brother came and took them back to Georgia, they
lived in the Dalton, Carters, Ellijay area. If anyone can help me on this it will be appreciated. We were never told much about family in N.C.. I remember a uncle saying about
going to Burke Co. then to Va., but this was a long time ago. Have been told their are a lot of McElrath's in N.C..
I know alot about family in Ga., Tenn. area but not N.C.
Will list from me back as far as I know.
