The best info I have on Bernard McEntee is he arrived in the US around 1872. He may have come from County Monaghan northern Ireland. The location info is verbal from my Uncle. As far as I know, all his brothers were born in Ireland. All info seems to center on Jersey City NJ. They did work in Manhatten selling produce. It is possible that they might have lived in New York prior to New Jersey. Have not found that connection. It would appear that our two McEntees are not connected at this point but possibly at some point in Ireland. I have found diffferent spelling of the name. Bernard MacKentie and Bernard McIntee are two other spelling of the name. Have you examined Griffith's Valuation. This has info on land ownership/rental by county, barony, parish and townland in Ireland. Because a lot of the records were lost in Ireland, this may be an excellent source for tracing your people.
