There is an obit in the Pittsburgh Mercury for Dec 19, 1817 for Thomas McFann: "DiedÑon Tuesday evening last Mr. Thomas McFann, an upright and respectable inhabitant of this city."This would mean that he died on Dec 16, 1817.

You show a Martha Chambers born in Ireland in 1898.Should this be 1798?What evidence do you have for this?If true, Thomas is not a descendant of Daniel McFann in Northumberland Co., PA in 1790 like I thought.

There is also a "widow" McFann in the 1820 census for Pittsburg.I believe she and Thomas were the parents of John McFannfound in Crawford Co., PA in 1830 and 1840 census.
