Jo,I also descend from Donald Alexander McKechnie.Info provided to me shows his siblings as: William who dies in America (where and when unknown); Charles who dies in Scotland 1915 (spouse Marianne); and Flora and Kathryn (different spelling).Donald b. 1825 and most likely the youngest, d. in a work accident at age 62 on Sept. 21 1886.Father of these children shown as Angus McK. b.1782 in Scotland and d.1862 in England.

Please note Ms. Caden listed the first names only of the 10 children of Donald.For instance, its not 'John Angus' one person, but 'John' and 'Angus' two brothers.

Am interested to know if your Catherine and our Kathryn are the same person!
