I have Edward McKechnie b. abt. 1896 Scotland, d. abt 1962 Toronto, Ontario, Canada married abt 1918, Catherine Little "Kate" Harkness b. abt. 1896 Scotland, d. Nov. 30, 1977 Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Kate was my mother's oldest sister.Uncle Ed and Aunt Kate's children: Edward "Ed", Cahterine m. Nick Carter, Margaret m. Brennan, Janet m. Rogers, Thomas m. Enid, Robert "Bob".My grandfather William Harkness came from Midlothian and the family were from Renfrewshire, Paisley, Airdrie in that vacinity.Do not have any details on the McKechnie's other than the above.Any connection?Ed & Kate came to Toronto abt 1920's.
