Linda;Your response reminds me that there is likely another spelling possibility, Mackay.Were you at Burtonwood?That is the only place I know of near Liverpool.When we were there in the 70s English people would occasionally spell our name with a K instead of a G.Those English could sure mess up perfectly good Scottish names!
No, the only McKee I have in my 37 marker results is James Gerard McKeeand he is three markers removed.Have you been able to get your McKees back to Ireland?If your husband is a descendant of Thomas McKee who married the Hogg I guess the answer is yes. If the answer is yes, have you seen any documentation of that birth in Saintfield in 1749?
