Jasper, Harvy, Thomas McMackin--TN

I am researching Brown/Yarbro families of Perry-then Decatur Co., TN.On 1850 Decatur Co. census, there is a Jasper (sp?)McMackin, age 16, living with Nancy G. Brown and a Harvy McMackin, age 11, living with James F. Brown.Does anyone know the connection?Browns are connected to Yarbro/Yarbrough--on 1830 Perry census, there is a Thomas McMackin living next door to Wm. Yarberry.This is closest I have come to finding connection.
