Hi Marvin! Sorry about the double message. I went back to the McAfee forum and got this information for you.
James McAfee married Mrs. Sarah Prather in Richmond Co., Ga. Jan. 2, 1794. She was the WIDOW of Edward Prather who owned property on Boggy Gut Creek in two counties Richmond and Columbia co's in Georgia.
TheGeorgia Land Lottery of 1805shows Sarah McAfee, a widow,and her son James Prather, Registration # 1841, in Richmond Co., Ga. In Volume II Habersham Collection. Richmond Co., DAR p.300
