Michael McNamara 1880 Rhode Island

Looking for a connection to Michael McNamara who was born in Ireland about 1835 and whose second wife was Ellen Ring and that marriage produced John, Mary Ellen, Hanora (Nora), Catherine (Kate), Ellen, Patrick. In 1880 this family was living in Woonsocket, RI with Michael's sister Ellen Mahoney. Michael is my great grandfather and I'd like to have info as to where he was born.
