Mary McNamara (1837-1900), dt. of Andrew

I'm looking for the family of Mary McNamara (1837-1900), whose parents were Andrew McNamara and Alice (Unknown).She was born in Ireland, but lived most of her life in western Illinois, in the counties of Fulton and McDonough.

Mary was born Aug. 15, 1837, and apparently entered this information (and her parents' names) into her husband's family Bible after their marriage in 1855.(Her husband's name was Henry Gick.)According to her obituary in the Bushnell, Ill., Record, she was born at New Castle, Ireland, and "brought to this country when only six months old" -- that is, in the spring of 1838.

So far, I've been unable to identify the location of New Castle.There seem to be numerous places with this name in Ireland.

Mary's mother, Alice, apparently died before 1850 when Mary, her widowed father (then age 62) and other relatives were recorded on the U.S. census as living with a married sister, Eliza (b. ca. 1824) , wife of Michael McMahon.I believe Mary (and Eliza) had another sibling,William, (b. ca. 1822).
