Newfoundland on the way to MA?

It's absolutely amazing to me to realize how many Mcnamees are out there!!I grew up in Massachusetts, and there was always talk of family that had come from Ireland through Nova Scotia or Newfoundland... But I have NO idea of names. My father is Charles Stephen McNamee, his father was Charles Augustine McNamee, and (I'm ashamed to say) I don't even know any more. But if anyone has stories about Newfie McNamees, I'd be very interested.
