Do either of you have reference of a Robert McPherson who married
Nancy Riley, daughter of John Riley (d. bef 1801) in 1801?
Nancy's guardian is listed as William Reed.We know that this family
was in Virginia and suspect that they are the parents of Riley McPherson
who was born in 1803 in Virginia.I have a death certificate of an Alexander
McPherson in Grant Co., Wisconsin that may have been Riley's brother.
