George McPherson, Callander, Perthshire

I am looking for any information pre 1839 on George McPherson,b.C1816, native of Callander. He came to Australia in 1839 and married Jane Andrews in 1852.
I know he had a brother Duncan, and sisters Mary and Janet. There was at least one other brother who was the father of Duncan McPherson,b.C1852 Steward on the cargo ship "Ventura".
