To Tammy Hicks, I don't have any information on Alexander McPherson but on familysearch.org he is said to have been born in 1751, m: Elizabeth Shaw in 1783 in Georges Creek, Fayette, PA. Elizabeth was born in 1715 in the USA, d:1788 in Chestnut Lerel, Lancaster, PA.

Alexander McPherson was born 18 Nov 1751 of Scotch parentage. He lived in Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War and died in KY 18 Nov 1831. Alexander enlisted in the Revolutionary War 18 Aug 1776 for a term of three years. He served in the company commanded by Capt. John Wilson in the regiment commanded by Col A McCoy in the line of the State of Pennsylvania in the Continental Establishment. Alexander served until 18 Sep 1779, when he was discharged from the service in Pittsburg PA.
From the Will Book of Boone County KY. In the name of God Amen. I Alexander McPherson of the county of Boone and State of Kentucky. Now in a low state of health but sound in mind and not knowing how soon God in his Providence may call me from time to eternity do make this my last will and testament in the manner and form following. /to wit/ first I commend my soul to God. Who gave it, and my body intered in a desent and Christian like manner at the discretion of my executors hereafter to be mentioned: and as to what worldly goods I now possess I will they be disposed of in the following manner /to wit/ 1st It is my will that all my just debts be paid and 2nd I give and bequeath unto my well and beloved wife Rebecca my real and personal estate after paying all my just debts during her natural life or whilst she remains my widow. With the exceptions hereinafter to be mentioned. If she should marry it is my will that she should have her bed, horse and a saddle. It is also my will that the heirs of my Daughter Ellenor McClure shall have forty dollars in such property as may suit my beloved wife & further if my son Charles should ever return that he shall have a bed and bedding and if the son Charles should never return it is my will that the property donated to him be equally divided among my heirs, the Legacies mentioned to above to Ellenor to be faithfully paid before a division takes place of the whole of my property. It is be remembered that the legacy above mentioned to Ellenor is an equal proportion with what the rest have of the legatees have received. My only heirs are the heirs of my son Mark dec, Ellenor McClure, Robert, Elizabeth Gibson, Chas B, Alexander, Rebecca & Samuel R. I will that my land be equally divided among the aforesaid Heirs! I will that my son Marks heirs get no more that his proportion. The law as? (Cant decipher) falling to Elizabeth and Rebecca and the heirs of Ellenor their heirs lawfully begotten on their own body. I do by these presents constitute and appoint my true and trusty friend Abner Gaines Esq executor with my beloved wife executrix. I constitute this to be my last will and testament. Given (cannot decipher) my hand this 3rd day of Feburary in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and twenty nine.
