Hi Barb, I am also researching my family tree and have been trying without to much success until I hit this site. I may have found a few leads. My Father was James Edward McPherson b1908 d1987 My Grandfather was Alexander Rufus McPherson b1888 d1962 Alexanders father was Albert JAmes McPherson not sure of birthdate 1837? or birthplace-(Somewhere in Ontario I think) I have quite a bit more info which I am trying to get from storage, and I would be happy to share. I have the family traced back to 1735 when they moved to Nova Scotia from Scotland
