I have an Elizabeth Read married to an Alexander McPherson (McFerson)The family referred to her as Aunt Fanny McFerson.I even have her photo.Her brothers called her Eliza.

She would have been born in the early middle part of the 1800's.Her family lived in Ohio and moved to all parts west.

She was a widow with three children and was a school teacher at the Seminary in Bloomington, Indiana and then principal at the Glendale Female College near Cincinnati, Ohio.
