Hello! I read your posting and thought maybe we could be related somewhere along the line... To make a long story short...My name is Gregory. I was born in 1970 to very young parents (16+17)and given up for adoption. After searching for many many years, I finally found my birth parents through death/birth/marriage certs. Unfortunately my mother had an untimely death previous to me finding them. I have developed a great relationship with both of my families. My fathers name is Marc Mcqueary. His fathers name was Carlos Mcqueary. Unfortunately, he also passed before I could meet him. It has been 12 years since this reunion. And though I stay in contact with all of my family, I live in China! They now live in Cincinnati and Florida. Hence my search continues here... from my fathers information, I know that our roots lay in Kentucky. I believe my great grandfather (whos name I dont remember) was killed in a car accident in kentucky, way back when. Beyond basic information about my father/grand and immediate relatives, I really dont know anything beyond this.
Do any of these names ring a bell with you?
I am happy to share any other information, if I have it... And thank you for any information you have! I guess, tracing our roots back as far as we can becomes more important as we grow older and being so far from home, I now have the desire to find out as much as I can.
Thanks for your time! GR
