Dear Leona, thanx for your response. The Alexander I have died in Brockville Ontario, tho it is possible that he had gone to the U.S. first and then north. I am trying to find info on Angus,Alex's younger brother. I believe he may be the father of Angus who was b. Isle o Skye and d. in N.C. This Angus' wife was a McDonald of Glencoe. His son Angus b.1835 in Scotland is where I can trace accurately. It is Angus 1835 who immigrated in 1859, had two bros. in the U.S.(don't know the names)was a Union baker in the Civil War who settled in Montreal by 1868. Really trying to find Angus b.(1795-1810?) Isle o Skye d. N.C. Hav'nt been able to find anything so far. Been all over the internet. Any suggestions?thanxLeonard
