John McQUEEN, his wife and dau, Ann, 12 pounds; 60 pounds to their children, to each child also one horse from my best stock on Shell Creek (?).
(An Alex Adaire witnessed will with/of a McQueen / Queen in Maryland in 1730s.There was a McQueen from Wigtownshire, Scotland who emigrated c.1774 with Adairs & related families to Albany, NY on the ship "Gale" from Port of Stranraer).
Alexander PETRIE and wife, 12 pounds & 350 pounds to their children,
George SUMMERS and his wife, 200 pounds, a stallion, a mare, a trotting gelding; & 12 pounds.
To Alexander, son of Mary Dicks, 50 pounds Sterling to be paid him in such manner as my friend (??) Lauchlan McGilvray shall think fit.
To Alexander McGilvray and his wife, 200 pounds to buy mourning rings. (Lauchlan (?) McGillivray was a neighbour and close friend of James Adair, the author & fur trader and was mentioned by James Adair in his book).
To Robert Brisbane and James Parsons, 12 pounds each.
To John McGilvray and William Stuthers, all my wearing apparel, riding saddle, bridle, furniture, swords, belt, guns and pistols (save one French gun to George Summers), books.
To William Struthers, 50 pounds.
To John McGilvray, 25 pounds.
To Mr. Morrison, minister of the Scotch Meeting house in Charlestown, 25 pounds.
To Charlestown Library, 25 pounds.
Brother: Alexander Clark of Parish of Patty near Castle Stewart near Inverness in North Britain, 2000 pounds Sterling or to his children if he is no longer living.
Brother-in-law: Alexander Clark, formerly a merchant, at Inverness, 300 pounds Sterling
and to his daughter, Margaret and her children, 200 pounds Sterling equally divided.
