Hello.Steve McQueen was the grandson of Jacob C.(1845-1919) and Elizabeth A. Aikens McQueen (1847-1929), through their son Louis D.McQueenborn 1869, who married Caroline Culberson.Jacob was the son of Joseph Tanner McQueen (1820-1859) and Catherine Cook and the grandson of Uriah McQueen (1787-1853)and a great grandson of Thomas McQueen Rev. War soldier buried in IN.Elizabeth Aiken was my fourth great aunt, daughter of my fourth great grandmother Sarah Stoughton McQueen Aiken Thayer (1816-1900).She was the daughter of Elizabeth McQueen Stoughton(1797-1872), and a granddaughter of Thomas McQueen the Rev War soldier.Therefore, on his paternal great grandmother's lineage, Steve McQueen is my third cousin, twice removed.Hope this helps.Russ Layhew
