On the 1880 census, Herbert is listed below Miranda and her husband, John Cavanaugh.His name is " as if Herbert was also a Cavanaugh. They were living with James & Statira McQueen in Orange, IN.

So, could Guy Herbert be the son of Miranda and John Cavanaugh?

My friend is descended from Charles McQueen & Amelia.
