Re: Minor McQueen, Ohio, Virginia

I found a 1913 Oklahoma newspaper article on Gideon McQueen, son of Minor McQueen, that reads "He is of Scotch-Irish extraction and is a member of the noted McQueen family of Shenandoah Valley, Virginia." He was 92 years old at the time, and living with a son, F.E. McQueen in Sulphur, Oklahoma. The article says he was born in Ohio in 1821.
