Wesley McQuire from Franklin Co. entered prison July 29, 1840 for petit larceny and sentenced for 1 year. He is 21 years old, weighs 148 lbs., 5’8” high, light colored hair, fair skin, blue eyes. He was born in White County near the Blue Spring Cove, raised in Jackson County, Alabama. He has a wife and one child lives on Flat Creek near her father Elijah Oozele (Ezelle?).
Jackson McQuire from Franklin Co. entered prison July 29, 1840 for petit larceny, sentenced for one year. He is 24 years old, 5’4” high, 120 lbs., dark hair, hazel eyes, fair skin, few scars. Born in White County, TN, raised in Jackson County, Alabama. His wife died, leaving one child who lives in Bedford County with its grandmother, Nancy Beard.
