Meadors from Barren Co. KY

Hello. I was looking for information regarding my grandmother’s family tree and was referred to this site. So far, I’ve had little luck in connecting our Meador family genealogy to others, so I thought I'd give this a try.

Would anyone perhaps have ties to this little branch of the Meador family tree? My great-great-grandmother was Mary (nicknamed “Molly” or “Mollie”) Meador, (1860-1908) and lived in Barren County, Kentucky. In 1879 she married Thomas Osborne (parents of Annie Osborne Pace, my great-grandmother). Mary was the daughter to James Harvey Meador (1832-?). James Harvey was the son of Nehemiah (born in Allen County, KY in 1800, died in 1881 in Barren County, KY). Nehemiah was married to Margaret Payne (1803-1852) on Dec. 10, 1821. (Nehemiah’s second wife was Susanna Ritter Mitchel, third was Ellen Louis).

Nehemiah and Margaret had 10 children: George Benjamin Meador (1822-1825), Tyne D. Meador (1826-1863), Emily Meador (b.1827), Aurbon Meador (b.1829), Lafayette Meador (b.1831), James Harvey, Elizabeth Dowel Meador (b.1834), Latisha Meador (b. 1835), Manervey Meador (b.1837), and Jonas Ananis Meador (b.1840).

Nehemiah was the son of Benjamin Meador (1775-1857), married to Elizabeth Basham (1777-1864) in 1796. Benjamin was the son of Thomas Meador (b.1738)

Official records and documents that I have (marriage, census, and death records) have slightly different spellings of the Meador name, and certain dates I have collected tend to vary slightly.

I have information dating back even farther as well and would be more than happy to share what I have with anyone interested in this family line.
