Re: Thomas Meador Sr. in Virginia

I find it intersting that this is the first time I have heard on the geneology pages, of having Thomas Meador born in the Netherlands. My husband family spells it's name Meadows. His Aunt stated to him that the family did not come from England, but from Holland. This information was brought down many generations. My husbands gg/grandfather was a Job Meadows. From what I know from the book 'Meadors in Colonial America',Thomas Meadors son John had seven sons, two of which were twins Jason and Job. Jason came to NC. Job I have traced to three counties in eastern NC. I am still serching to make a connection to 'our Job' the court records in neighboring county where my husband father was born, was burnt, so I have not been able to get any information on the Job and Job Jr. in that county.But still looking .hope this info is helpful to someone
