Thanks for the reply.I should have made my question clearer, given there are so many Meadors of the same name.I was inquiring about the Jason Meador who supposedly married Elizabeth Stone about 1720-1730 in Virginia.

I have in the meantime tentatively concluded that Elizabeth was probably the daughter of John Stone who died in Caroline County, and that William, who is often asserted as being her father, was in fact her brother.
