By Paul Meador January 12, 2012 at 11:24:15

I am looking for spcific proof that links R M Meador toReason Mobley Meador. Many people blend these two into the same family, there are similarities. However, I believe that R M Meador in the 1870 Census is DIFFERENT from Reason M Meador of other Census'

Any help distiguishing these two (one) families is neeed,

Here is what I know...

THere is an 1870 Navarro County Census listing R M Meador with these family members

R M Meador 44
S A Meador 30
M E Meador 15
W J Meador 16
M B Meador 14
G B Meador 10
P A Meador 7
N E Meador 4
C M Meador 3

THe 1900 United States Federal Census
about Reason M Meador in Jack County TEXAS are SIMILAR but there are ENOUGH DIFFERENCES that tell me these are TWO DIFFERENT FAMILIES.

1900 United States Federal Census about Wm J Meador.THis census has the correct members of his family (Wife Mattie E, Children Edgar, Annie, Nellie, Bruce and Earl).Navarro County Texas

William J Meador (of R M Meador) was born in Sept 1853 and died in 1906 in TEXAS.There are several documents that show a William J Meador death in OK in 1900.

I have credible documents showing William J Meador (married to Mattie E Grady/Meador) alive in Dallas, Tx on Dec 23, 1905.

I need help idntifying THIS WIlliam J Meador's parents.

Thank You

PG Meador
