I am descended from Jason Meador, son of John Meador and his second wife. I believe the second wife was the sister of Richard Awbrey, because in Richard Awbrey's will of 4-18-1697 he bequeathed clothes "to my brother John Meader."My information shows an additional child, Dinah Meador m. George Tribble, from this marriage.The source of Dinah as a child is from John Meador, Sr.'s will of 10-17-1721 in Essex Co., Va., in which he names Thomas, Rachael Jordan, Elizabeth Armstrong, as well as additional children Dinah Tribble, Mary Meador, Jonas, Job, Jason, and Joshua. Sons Richard and John, Jr. from the first marriage to Elizabeth White pre-deceased John, Sr., and son Hope is also thought to have died before 1721.Do your records match?
