I just became aware that my grgrgrgrgrandfather was named Obadiah Meador.However, it appears that this Obadiah was born in Anson County, North Carolina in 1797 and died in Pontotoc County, Mississippi in 1856.

His wife was Alley Ann Johnson.they named one of their daughters Alley Ann, and she married Levy Jarvis in Pontotoc on 9/19/1852.

A daughter of this last couple was thought to be named Martha Munford Jarvis.However, her name was Martha Meador Jarvis.She married Thomas Hunt Smith and named one of her daughters Alley Ann.This Alley Ann married Fred Lipscomb.
