Sorry I have been away and just found your
message today.I, too, have Obadiah M. Meador for a gggrandfather.Mine was b.
1828 in SC and m. in 1850 in MS and died
in TX in 1907.They are all related it
seems and many of the names were repeated
frequently.Have done much research on
the Meador families and have come across
your Obadiah several times.My Obadiah
was the son of Meredith Mobley Meador and
they were all in SC for many years. When
you figure they lived so far apart they
really did manage use the names over and
over to make it harder for us to research,
I think....
