I descend from Dorothy Meador who married Richard Awbrey. Their daughter Dorothy Awbrey married John Wright I s/o Major Francis Wright and Anne Washington (d/o Col John Washington)who was the only sister of Lawrence Washington, grandfather of George Washington.

Richard Awbrey was the son of Henry Awbrey & Sarah ?. Henry Awbrey was the s/o Sir Wm Awbrey & Elizabeth Johns, both of Abercynrig, Wales
