Re: Thomas Meador/Meadows family of VA

The Awbrey material is very interesting to me since that is my line of descent. The information I have is that Richard Awbrey is the father of Dorothy Awbrey who married John Wright I.This is confirmed by both C.A. Hoppin & Anne Reed Ritchie. Dorothy Meador is given as the mother of Dorothy Awbrey & wife of Richard Awbrey. However, if the same Sarah Hoskins 1st m Thomas Meador and had Dorothy Meador, then 2nd m. Henry Awbrey and gave birth to Richard Awbrey....that would make Dorothy Meador the half sister of her own husband.Am I missing something here ?

I realize that you don't show Thomas Meador Jr as the father of Dorothy Meador. Shall I rule out that possibility ?
