Dear Karen, G'day.not that I am directly related but the rough working notes that I have on this family is as follows.

Michael MEDHURST borm 1790 and Elizabeth FRENCH married 1814, son of Thomas MEDHURST b 1739 and Elizabeth ALCHORN, married at Ripe in 1762 had the following children:

William born 1815, died 1881 married Mary Ann FRENCH (stet); Thomas born 1816, died 1857; Elizabeth born 1819 married 1. Robert BURGESS 1839 2. Issac HUTSON; John born 1821(might have gone to Tasmania in 1825)(see page 2. Sydney Gazette dated 1825); Edward born 1825, died 1826; Mark born 1823 died 1910 married Barbara BURGESS at Chalvington in 1847; Ann born 1827 married Thomas EVEDEN at East Loathly in 1847; Greorge born 1830, died 1888, did not marry; and James born 1834, baptised at Chalvington 1 SEP 1834 died 1907 married Susan TUCKER at St. Peter Preston Brighton ?? in 1854.Family went to Australia onboard the Escort in 1859,lived at Glencoe in Mt. Gambier.Family still lives there.Children of James and Susan:James born 1854 married Margaret HUGHES; Emily born 1856 died 1857; Harris married Emily MASON; George married Emily HUGHES, William married Jane BAKER; Elizabeth married Alfred CASE, Emma married Jack BURSTON; Lily married Julius SCHULTZ and Edward married NOLAN.
