Erected by Thomas Meagan Garrymore in memory of James Meagan who died August 8th 1839 aged 38 years. Also Catherine Meagan died Nov 8th 1879 aged 76 years parents of the above.

Lord Walter Fitzgerald in “J” states that these two headstones, which are at the east end of St. Saviours Priory (“The monastry”) mark the burial place of a couple of highwaymen – two brothers buried after being hanged. Erected by Catherine Meegan upper Aughrim in memory of her beloved father John Moules who died 15th August 1856 aged 47 years and her brother John died 29th August 1877 aged 24 years. Also her brother Robert died 27th June 1881 aged 38 years and her mother Sarah Moules died 5th October 1898 aged 76 years and three of her children died young. Also her son James Meegan who died 9th March 1903 aged 33 years. Her daughter Katie died 28th May 1908 aged 20 years. Also her husband Edward Meegan died 30th March 1914 aged 82 years. The above Catherine Meegan died 1st Sept 1926 aged 80. Margaret Sexton died 1st April 1966. Marcella Lindley died 24th June 1969
