My great-grandfather, Hannans Meeks, was Gus Meeks brother. There parents were Nathan and Martha Jane[Catlett] Meeks. There are no living relatives of the Gus Meeks family but many from Gus's siblings.What picture's did you download. I have seen the story at the Sullivan Co. Missouri web-site but nothing on any pictures.
