Anselme Melanson from Gilbert's Cove

My gggrandfather was Anselme Vital Melanson born abt. 1860 in NS. He married Charlotte LeBlanc who was born abt.1860 in NS also. Some of the children they had are George,Michael,Samuel,Mae,Margaret,Emma,Grace,Annie,Mary, and my great grandmother, Agnes Katerine b.Feb.28,1884 d.Nov.26, 1966. She was born in Gilbert's Cove,NS. She married Leo Comeau on Feb.18,1901. Looking for any help with information on Anselme Melanson. I hit a brick wall!
