Re: Sarah Coward Turner Melville born 1864 in Scotland

The little info I have relates to Sarah Coward Turner whose parents were James Wright Turner and Sarah Elizabeth Coward. Two of James' brothers were Chemists and I have been tracking their careers. James was born and died in Jamaica where I live.
Sarah married William Melville in Beith, Scotland on the 2nd Aug 1852.

I am somewhat surprised to find that Sarah Coward Turner Melville is not her daughter, but the daughter of William's brother, Hugh Melville and Rachel Reid Wilson. It was this Sarah who married Alexander, but I have no further information on that family or on other marriages of Alexander.

I do not have a Christian name for the father of William and Hugh or the name of their mother.
