Christopher Merkley

Christopher Merkley, born 1808, Dundas County, Ontario was my husband's great grandfather.We have the records of his son, Christopher Amos Merkley and also a copy of the book Christopher wrote when he was 78.Have a great picture of Christopher Merkley.I have also done a family history on the Merkley family that goes back to 1608 in Germany.
Christopher born 1808 was the son of Jacob born 20 Aug 1781 son of Johann Jacob Merckle born 17 Oct 1747 Bietigheim, Wurttemburg, Germany and came to New York in 1753 with his parents, Christopher Friedrich Merckle and Maria Catharina.
