Hi, Thank you for your message regarding my Merkley lineage.Some of this stuff is confusing to me and I have information only from a posted family tree on the mormon site.I will give you what information I have in the best way that I can and then maybe you could correct me from there.

My great grandfather is Henry Merkley (born approx 1881) his father is Isaiah Aaron Merkley, (born approx 1851), his father is George Peter Merkley (born approx 1821), his father is Henrich Merckel born approx 1777 (married a Bercklay hence Merkley, I assume), his father is Jacob Merckel born 1747, his father is Christopher Friedrich Merckel born 1721, Chrisopther Merckel born 1693, Johann Friedrich Merckel born 1665, and his father is Felix Merckel born 1639.

Jacob Merckel is the last one born in Germany, Henrich was born in New York and the others after him are listed as being born in Williamsburg, Dundas ON.

Could you Please send me any info you may have regarding this as you stated in your earlier reply some of this is wrong and since I am new to this I may need it in easier terms to understand.Any other info you may require or care to share just contact me.
