Isaiah Aaron Merkley b. 19 Sep 1851 son of George Peter Merkley b. 4 Oct 1821 son of Henrich b. 30 Jan. 1777 in what is now Schoharie County, New York; son of Johann Jacob Merkley b.17 Oct. 1747 Bietigheim, Wurttemberg, Germany; son of Christopher Friedrich Merckle (and Maria Catharine)christened 14 March 1722 Hoheneck, Wurttemberg, Germany and died 24 Sep 1772 in what is now Schoharie County, New York.He was the son of Hans Michael Merckle and Margaretha Schneider.
I have church christening records, marriage and death records from Germany, New York and Ontario, plus Germany wills, land records and marriage settlements to prove the above line.
