Could this be Silas christopher Merkley, born in 1850,diedin1914 married Jennie Rae had a son,Charles Franklin Merkleyborn 1877,who farmed in Sask. Canada,married Christina Miller of Denmark,born1878.died in Sask(had 5 children -one of them my father Max Merkley my father born in Theodore Sask,now at Slave Lake Alberta aged 89(90 on Halloween)????
