Trying to relocate a message re Eliezabeth Merkley, Dundas

Eliezabeth Merkley married John Lapointe 15 July 1817. They had a son John married to Elenor Shaver16 october 1838. I am trying to relocate a message that read to the effect of "my gggrandmother (and gave her name) was a sister of Eliezabeth Merkley. I have her diary which reads as to how she first met John in a beadwork shop that his family owned". John and Eliezabeth are my gggrandparents.Can anyone please help with relocating this message or having information on the ancestors on the Lapointe side.
