I was trying to find out something about Jesse DOUGLAS whose wife was Sarah Ann __?__. Jesse lived on Obed's Creek. Does he fit in with anyone's family?
Jesse DOUGLAS was in NC in 1805.And back on the same land at Spartanburg, SC in 1811 and bought more land in SC.There was a Sheriff's Sale of part of the land formerly owned by Jesse DOUGLAS recorded Jan 13, 1814 and nothing more is in the Spartanburg records about him.Jesse DOUGLAS and Sarah Ann (she was b 1879 SC) moved to McMinn Co, TN abt 1816, then to Murray Co, GA abt 1837-1840, then before 1850 to Gilmer Co, GA where both died. If anyone knows anything about Jesse, please email me or post a reply.
