Looking for ancestors, etc. of James M. Mitchell, b 1861 (in TN I believe); d 1899 in Texas, buried in Davy Cemetery (AKA Salt Creek Cemetery) just inside the DeWitt County line in Texas.He was married to Frances Burt, b 1866, died 1912.She is also buried in the same cemetery.They lived in the area of Karnes County, Gonzales County, and DeWitt County, Texas.James' middle name was Montgomery, and he went by the nickname 'Gum'.
