Funeral services for Everett Mitchell, 55, who died 21 November 1959 at his home near Garrison were held 24 November 1959 at 2 p.m. in the Garrison Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Mabe and Rev. Roy Shipman officiating. Burial was in Swansville Cemetery under direction of Harris Funeral Home of Clever. A farmer and electrician, Mitchell was a native of the Garrison community and a member of the Garrison Baptist Church which he served as a deacon for many years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rae Mitchell; one daughter, Mrs. Don Hughes, Garrison; one granddaughter, Donna Kay Hughes; three brothers: T. C. Mitchell and Orville Mitchell, both of Chadwick, and Dave Mitchell of Ozark.
