Thanks for the info.My direct connection to the Parisi side is my G-Grandmother, Anna Maria Parisi (1890-1949).She was born in Terrasini to Alfonso Parisi (c.1862-???)and Giuseppa Bologna (c.1870-1894).Alfonso and Giuseppa immigrated to St. Louis in 1893.I don't know if Giuseppa died in the U.S. or Terrasini (probably giving birth to her daughter Giuseppa (Josephine) in 1894).Alfonso remarried on July 25, 1895 to Maria Bommarito. They had one child that I'm aware of, born in the U.S., Filippo (Phillip) in 1903.My family stayed in St. Louis, eventually settling in Springfield, IL.Josephine married James Moceri and they moved to Detroit.Phillip also moved to Detroit, but is said to have not married. If you have any info on these Parisi's I'd appreciate it.
Giuseppa Bologna (1870-1894) parents were Salvatore Bologna (March 21, 1844 - ???) and Maria Grazia Aiello (March 13, 1846 - ???).It was Maria Grazia Aiello's parents that were Giuseppe Aiello (1809-1887) and Grazia Moceri (c 1825-???).
I'm actually related to Aiello's on both my G-Grandfather's (Domenico Aiello 1883-1954) and G-Grandmother's (Anna Maria Parisi) sides.Confusing huh? They were married in 1904 in St. Louis.
If you or anyone in your family can help me find out what happened to Josephine (Parisi) Moceri, her brother Phillip, and their father Alfonso I would appreciate it.
